Bike transport in Delhi

No payment required to enquire. Your booking and final price must be confirmed separately.

Budgeting for Delhi to Chandigarh

Our broad market planning range for a move within 500 km is ₹2,000–5,000 for a 100–150cc bike, ₹2,500–6,000 for a 151–350cc bike and ₹4,500–9,000 for a premium or heavy bike. These are indicative distance-band estimates, not a fixed route tariff. Confirm the amount for your addresses, model and date.

Ask which packing, loading, collection, delivery and applicable tax items are included. Insurance is separate at the stated 3% of declared bike value, subject to the issued policy. See the quote comparison guide.

A shorter route still needs a reason to transport

You may prefer riding if the journey suits your schedule, experience and vehicle. Transport is useful when you are moving house on the same day, travelling with family or sending a bike to someone already in the Tricity. Compare the quote with your own travel plan rather than assuming one option suits everyone.

For a new, non-running or electric vehicle, explain the model and condition before booking. Acceptance and handling need to be checked for that vehicle. A short route does not remove the need for a condition record, agreed packing and a clear delivery appointment.

Which Tricity address is the bike going to?

Chandigarh: include the sector, house or building number and the intended entrance. For Manimajra, IT Park or Industrial Area, give the full locality and PIN.

Mohali and nearby: give the phase or sector and clarify whether the address is in Mohali, Aerocity, Kharar or further towards a campus. A college name alone may point to a different location from your hostel.

Panchkula: share the sector or MDC address and receiving contact. Zirakpur: name the society and locality, such as VIP Road or Dhakoli, with its PIN and access instructions.

These are distinct destinations for booking purposes. State the actual receiving address rather than using “Chandigarh” as a catch-all. If a society limits entry, agree the handover point and permission requirements in advance.

Sending the bike to a student or family member

Confirm that the hostel, PG or campus permits the bike and has parking. Share the recipient’s contact and availability, and check whether campus security requires a pass. The actual receiving address may be outside the main university campus.

If the owner, sender and receiver are different people, tell us before booking and confirm the authorisation documents needed. Do not send private ID documents with the initial quote request. The receiver should have the pickup photos and booking reference so they can check the vehicle properly.

A parent booking in Delhi, a student receiving in the Tricity

Keep the owner, booking contact and student receiver clearly identified. They may be three different people, and each needs the part of the record relevant to the handover.

  1. Before collection: the owner and sender settle the required document copies and authorisation. The sender keeps the quote and takes condition photos before packing.
  2. Before arrival: the student checks the hostel or PG receiving point, parking permission and when they can be present.
  3. At handover: the receiver compares the motorcycle, key and listed accessories against the pickup record and records any visible concern.

Write the complete Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula or Zirakpur address rather than only an institution name. A hostel reporting date is not always the day the room or bike parking becomes available. If those dates differ, settle a workable receiving plan before pickup instead of using a campus address as a placeholder.

Do not equate a short drive with same-day delivery

The booking still involves collection, preparation, dispatch and a local handover. Confirm the estimated window before arranging your own plans. No same-day or one-day commitment is made on this page.

If poor visibility, weather or local access affects the plan, keep in contact using the consignment number and reconfirm the delivery appointment. Tell us about a fixed reporting date before booking so its feasibility can be discussed.

Prepare the bike before collection

Photograph the bike from all sides, including existing scratches and the odometer. Remove personal belongings and discuss fitted accessories before pickup. Confirm the packing scope and instructions for fuel or battery preparation rather than making changes yourself.

Keep the agreed document copies ready and retain the originals unless a specific requirement has been explained. If the bike belongs to someone else, is financed, does not start or has an electric battery, mention this before booking. See the documents checklist and preparation guide.

Tracking, insurance and the delivery check

You receive a consignment tracking number. Keep it with your pickup receipt and quote, and mention it when contacting us for a shipment update. This is consignment tracking, not a claim of continuous live GPS.

ICICI Lombard transit insurance can be arranged at 3% of the declared bike value. Ask for the policy schedule and check the insured journey, risks covered, exclusions, deductible and claim notification requirements. The transport charge and insurance charge are separate. A claim is assessed under the issued policy; payment is not automatic.

At delivery, compare the bike with your pre-pickup photos before completing the receipt. Photograph any concern, record it on the handover document and contact us promptly. Keep the packing and documents until you have received instructions about any reported damage.

Delhi to Chandigarh bike transport: FAQs

Do you deliver to Mohali, Panchkula and Zirakpur?

Yes, we take these bookings. Share the actual locality, sector and PIN so it is quoted as the correct destination.

Can my child receive the bike at a hostel?

Agree the receiver and authorisation details, and confirm hostel permission, parking and the allowed handover point first.

Is delivery guaranteed the same day?

No. Ask for the proposed pickup and delivery window for your booking. A short distance is not a same-day service promise.

Do I need packing for this route?

Agree the packing and handling scope even for a shorter journey. Keep condition photos and a pickup record.

Does the booking include registration changes?

Do not assume so. Transport and any requirements related to registering or using the vehicle at your new address are separate matters.

How do I request a quote?
