Kochi delivery starts with the right side of the city
For Kaloor, Kadavanthra, Panampilly Nagar, Palarivattom, Edappally or Vyttila, share the building and PIN. For Kakkanad or the Infopark side, distinguish your accommodation from the workplace where you are joining.
If the destination is Kalamassery, Aluva, Fort Kochi, Mattancherry or an island-side location, specify it when asking for the quote. “Kochi” alone does not establish the final approach or delivery scope.
For a narrow lane in Fort Kochi or Mattancherry, explain where the vehicle can approach and where the receiver can inspect the bike. For a workplace or controlled-entry site, confirm the permitted entrance and appointment requirements.
Coordinate the bike with a family move
If household goods and the bike are travelling separately, keep the bike’s documents, keys and condition photos accessible. Do not pack the records you will need for handover inside another shipment.
Tell us when you leave Delhi and when the receiving home will be available. If a family member is collecting the bike before you arrive, agree their details and give them the photos and booking reference. The estimated shipment window needs to work for both ends.
Keep the motorcycle separate from the household-goods inventory
If furniture and the bike are moving through different arrangements, create two clearly labelled sets of records. A household-goods consignment update does not identify the motorcycle’s stage, and one payment receipt may not explain both bookings.
- For the bike, keep its own written quote, condition photographs, key and accepted accessory list.
- Record the Kochi receiving address and person for the motorcycle even if they also receive the furniture.
- Give each receiving person the correct reference and the parts of the pickup record they need.
- If your home is not ready, discuss the bike’s receiving plan directly rather than assuming the furniture mover will hold it.
Arrange an accessible place with enough light to compare the bike with its pickup photos. If rain or access affects the point, discuss the change before the appointment. A later move from temporary accommodation, storage or a second handover should be included in the agreed scope if required. Keep the final arrangement with the bike record so family members are working from the same information.
Rain and a safe receiving point
Discuss packing and loading protection for the actual vehicle. No generic “waterproof” statement should replace the agreed handling scope or policy conditions. If rain or waterlogging affects the receiving address, inform us before delivery and agree a safe inspection location.
Photograph any concern with the wrapping or bike at handover. If something appears damaged or unsafe, seek instructions before starting or riding it. Keep relevant packaging and documents when reporting a concern.
A long route needs a realistic schedule
Confirm the estimated pickup-to-delivery window for the booking. This page does not guarantee an eight- or twelve-day journey or a specific highway. Dispatch arrangements and local access are part of the timing.
For Thrissur, Kottayam or another destination beyond the quoted address, ask separately about availability and price. Do not assume a Kochi booking includes onward delivery. If your date changes, contact us before dispatch so the revised plan can be agreed.
Prepare the bike before collection
Photograph the bike from all sides, including existing scratches and the odometer. Remove personal belongings and discuss fitted accessories before pickup. Confirm the packing scope and instructions for fuel or battery preparation rather than making changes yourself.

Tracking, insurance and the delivery check
You receive a consignment tracking number. Keep it with your pickup receipt and quote, and mention it when contacting us for a shipment update. This is consignment tracking, not a claim of continuous live GPS.
ICICI Lombard transit insurance can be arranged at 3% of the declared bike value. Ask for the policy schedule and check the insured journey, risks covered, exclusions, deductible and claim notification requirements. The transport charge and insurance charge are separate. A claim is assessed under the issued policy; payment is not automatic.
At delivery, compare the bike with your pre-pickup photos before completing the receipt. Photograph any concern, record it on the handover document and contact us promptly. Keep the packing and documents until you have received instructions about any reported damage.
