If rain, road disruption or poor visibility affects the receiving area, tell us and check the revised plan. Do not arrange unloading at an unsafe roadside point. For an address outside the city, discuss approach conditions before committing to the quote.
If the bike will be used for onward travel after delivery, leave time to inspect it and address any concern. Transport is not a mechanical service or a guarantee of readiness for a hill journey.
If Dehradun is only the first stop of your trip
Separate the transport handover from any ride or onward journey you plan afterwards. Your booking needs a definite receiving address in the Dehradun area, an available receiver and a delivery window that you can work with. A hotel or guest house should agree to the handover before you use its address.
After arrival, give yourself time to unpack and compare the bike with the pickup record. ICICI Lombard transit insurance can be arranged at 3% of the declared bike value. Ask for the policy schedule and check the insured journey, risks covered, exclusions, deductible and claim notification requirements. The transport charge and insurance charge are separate. A claim is assessed under the issued policy; payment is not automatic.
At delivery, compare the bike with your pre-pickup photos before completing the receipt. Photograph any concern, record it on the handover document and contact us promptly. Keep the packing and documents until you have received instructions about any reported damage.
