Bike transport charges from Delhi to Mumbai

For initial budgeting, our general 1,000–2,000 km guide gives the following indicative ranges. These are planning figures, not a confirmed Mumbai tariff.

Share the exact model, running condition and both addresses for your quote. A scooter, EV or non-running bike needs its own handling assessment. Check the scope of packing, pickup, transport, final delivery, taxes and any special handling before comparing the total.

Mumbai, Thane or Navi Mumbai—which address is yours?

Many enquiries say “Mumbai” while the receiving address is in Thane or Navi Mumbai. Tell us the actual destination and PIN code at the start so the quote covers the handover you need.

• Andheri, Borivali or another western suburb: include East or West where relevant, the building and a clear approach landmark.
• Powai, Ghatkopar, Chembur or a central-side address: send the entrance or gate details, especially if the map pin points to another road.
• Thane: name the locality and society rather than using only Mumbai. Confirm access and pricing for the exact PIN code.
• Navi Mumbai: give the node, sector and building. Vashi, Airoli, Kharghar and Panvel should not be treated as one interchangeable drop point.

Check whether your building permits a delivery vehicle to stop inside, whether prior permission is needed and where the receiver will meet the team. If access is restricted, agree a suitable handover point in advance. A smaller local vehicle or a main-road handover should not be assumed unless agreed for your booking.

Collecting the bike in Delhi

We arrange door-to-door pickup in Delhi, including Dwarka. Share the sector or locality, building, PIN code and entry instructions. Tell the team if the bike is in a basement, has a flat tyre or cannot be pushed out of its parking spot.

Before the collection slot, check any society exit permission and have the agreed handover contact available. Your own travel can be arranged separately, but confirm who will hand over the bike if you leave Delhi first.

Plan the move around the receiving address

1. Start with the destination. Confirm the Mumbai-area flat, PG or family address, and the first date someone can receive the bike.
2. Agree the quotation and collection. Give the bike model, condition, pickup address and requested dates. Check the full service scope.
3. Record the handover. Keep photographs and an agreed record of existing marks, keys and accessories with the pickup receipt.
4. Use the consignment number. Ask for the current stage and next expected update. Pickup, dispatch and final delivery are different events.
5. Inspect at delivery. Compare the condition with the pickup record and document any concern promptly.

If rain or building access affects delivery

Tell the receiving contact to flag a waterlogged approach, temporary road restriction or a building rule that could affect the handover. Reconfirm the available delivery window with the team when such a problem arises.

Discuss the packing protection included in your booking; do not assume that a particular material makes the bike waterproof. At handover, inspect the bike and available packing, record any visible concern and contact the team. Keep a workable alternative receiving plan rather than relying on a guaranteed hour of arrival.

Compare the complete journey, not just freight

Our door-to-door service is arranged around the agreed pickup and receiving addresses. When comparing another parcel option, check whether it ends at your building, a depot or a station, and account for packing and local travel at both ends.

If you travel separately by air or train, remember that your arrival does not determine when the bike reaches Mumbai. Make temporary travel arrangements if you need to commute before delivery. If you prefer riding the bike yourself, assess your own schedule, luggage and bike condition before choosing that plan.

Preparation and condition records

Take clear photographs before packing, including the tank, side panels, lights, mirrors, levers and any existing marks. Note the odometer and disclose modifications or operating problems.

• Remove personal belongings and loose luggage.
• Agree which fitted or detachable accessories will travel and how they are listed.
• Confirm fuel or EV battery preparation for your model.
• Check the required document copies and keep originals secure.
• Give the receiver the pickup photographs and booking details.

Insurance and a delivery concern

Our insurance charge is 3% of the declared bike value, separate from transport. For a ₹1,50,000 declared value, that is ₹4,500. We arrange policies through ICICI Lombard; the issued document determines the insured journey, cover, exclusions and deductible.

Check the policy before the move. At delivery, photograph a concern, note it in the handover record and notify the transport team promptly. Follow the insurer’s reporting and inspection instructions too. No automatic payout or fixed settlement date is promised.
