For Gomti Nagar and Gomti Nagar Extension, include the actual locality or block, building and PIN. For Sushant Golf City, Vrindavan Yojana or a Shaheed Path-side address, provide the society entrance rather than a broad road name. Indira Nagar, Aliganj and Jankipuram addresses also need their sector or local landmark.
For Chowk, Aminabad or another older neighbourhood, explain the lane width and where a delivery vehicle can approach. An agreed doorstep plan should include any access limitation. Do not leave the receiver to negotiate a different location after the bike arrives.
If you are collecting at a family home while arranging permanent accommodation, use that home as the actual agreed destination. A later change of address should be discussed before it affects the shipment.
Planning around a transfer or return home
Give your reporting date when asking for the quote. We can discuss the pickup and estimated delivery window, but a fixed arrival before joining is not automatically included. Keep the receiver informed if your own travel is on a different date.
For a family member receiving the bike, share their contact in advance and provide your condition photos and booking reference. They should know that checking the bike is part of handover, rather than simply accepting a wrapped vehicle.
Keep receipts and the quote if you need records for an employer. Any reimbursement eligibility or required invoice format should be checked with your employer before booking; transport does not guarantee reimbursement.
If family will receive the bike while you are still in Delhi
Tell the team who will be present in Lucknow and settle the authorisation requirements before pickup. The receiving person should know which bike, key and accepted items are expected, rather than learning the details when the delivery call comes.

Keep the agreed address on the booking even when you use a relative’s phone for coordination. If the receiving home changes from one part of Lucknow to another, have the new address and arrangement recorded. A public review, a family message or an old quote is not a substitute for that update.

Photograph the bike from all sides, including existing scratches and the odometer. Remove personal belongings and discuss fitted accessories before pickup. Confirm the packing scope and instructions for fuel or battery preparation rather than making changes yourself.

Tracking, insurance and the delivery check
You receive a consignment tracking number. Keep it with your pickup receipt and quote, and mention it when contacting us for a shipment update. This is consignment tracking, not a claim of continuous live GPS.
ICICI Lombard transit insurance can be arranged at 3% of the declared bike value. Ask for the policy schedule and check the insured journey, risks covered, exclusions, deductible and claim notification requirements. The transport charge and insurance charge are separate. A claim is assessed under the issued policy; payment is not automatic.
At delivery, compare the bike with your pre-pickup photos before completing the receipt. Photograph any concern, record it on the handover document and contact us promptly. Keep the packing and documents until you have received instructions about any reported damage.
